SIMTO® Global

SIMTO Global is visual optimization technology for managing multiple supply chain assets including refining, terminal, liquid natural gas (LNG), and petrochemical assets. Global provides users with visual information, analysis tools, and easy identification of planning improvements for corporations, headquarters, regional coordinators or others seeking to see the Big Picture across various assets. Users can perform the following activities:
  • Drill down for details - Global enables visual groupings of one or more similar assets. Groupings are user configurable and can include inventory pools as well as site based nominations, receipts, and shipments,
  • Run supply chain simulations - fast and interactive simulations can be run to perform What-If analysis across one or more assets. Global understands asset constraints so simulation trends and messages are accurate and save time,
  • Resolve supply chain imbalances - supply vs. demand inequalities can be easily located so corrective action can be taken and re-simulated. Drag-and-drop can be used to move nominations from site to site,
  • See timing impacts of operational delays on shared shipments and receipts among terminals, processing plants, and other supply and distribution facilities. Then run simulation to quantify the imbalance impact,
  • Facilitate communication - Global synchronizes business objectives across different assets and types of users. It is a multi-user system with multi-site access to other SIMTO models. Global uses synchronization technology to present up-to-date business trends and forecasting information.
