We have an incredible opportunity for a Senior Software QA Engineer that reports to the Executive VP of Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop an understanding of customer requirements
- Designing, implementing, and executing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating accuracy
- Designing and executing functional, application, regression, and performance testing
- Performing Quality Assurance testing of products and documentation
- Authoring test plans and coordinating these plans with product management, development and information development teams
- Develop, implement and administer QA metrics
- Estimating person hours required to execute planned tests
- Develop weekly reports for M3 leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on an unrestricted basis
- Pro-active, flexible, results oriented
- Effective interpersonal and team working skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (must be fluent in English)
- Absolute understanding of different software development life cycles and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automation tools
- A desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
- Experience with Agile methodology, Scrum techniques and Test Driven Development highly desirable
- Involvement in multiple phases of software product development, including Design, Development, Testing, and Quality Assurance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently within a team environment
- Fast learner with passion for technology
- Minimum of seven years' experience in developing and testing enterprise software
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality assurance role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering related field
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in engineering related field
- Oil & Gas Industry enterprise software experience
- Petroleum refining domain knowledge is a big plus
- Deployment Experience with Team Foundation Server
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) experience
- Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Office (VSTO) experience
- System integration using Web Services
