What happens if a lawyer needs to court?

Hi, I have got a question ... If a lawyer has somehow done something that will be clarified in court, how does that then from? Can the lawyer speak for themselves, or he would have to get it another lawyer who defended him then?

The best answer

The lawyer should in principle defend itself, unless it is explicitly prohibited. Theoretically, the well every citizen in most cases (without defender duty) but makes little sense since most citizens are not sufficiently familiar with the laws.

He can speak for himself. This can, incidentally any make, lawyer is not mandatory.
